The 4-acre $2.7 million neighborhood park was fully funded through FBA  funds (Facility Benefit Assessment funds collected with building permits).

 

Opened in April, 2018, at the nexus of Del Mar Mesa's 10-mile internal trail system & Del Mar Mesa Preserve trails, the city park welcomes equestrians, hikers, bikers and families.

 

Construction began in August, 2016. The plan was designed and approved a decade ago to reflect the unique semi-rural character of Del Mar Mesa, the park includes equestrian trail facilities (water, tie-ups, corral), native plantings, play area with play structure, swings, "tike track" & parental seating, basketball 1/2 court, parking for bicycles & cars, dark sky lighting, bathroom facilities with timed locks, and an open play lawn for active and passive use.
